The Architects/Engineers Council, Inc. is a professional association of architectural and engineering member firms, and is headquartered in the District of Columbia. It is a non-profit corporation of District of Columbia laws pertaining to such operations.
The Architects/Engineers Council, Inc.'s purpose and objectives are to promote the professional and business interests of its member firms by seeking to improve business opportunities, within the architectural and engineering industries, promoting the general interest of the architectural and engineering professions, and to contribute informed input legislatures, government agencies, the private sector, institutions, and other associations with regard to issues that impact the architectural and engineering professions.

In pursuing the aforementioned objectives, the Architects/Engineers Council, Inc. will also seek to improve professional and business opportunities for the betterment of those Historically Underutilized Businesses within the architect-engineer profession.

Since the inception of the Architects/Engineers Council, Inc, the association continues to be very active in its mission goals and objectives. Operationally, the council's objectives are determined by vote of its full membership, and defined and implemented by committees specifically designated to carry out those approved activities.

Some activities undertaken by the Architects/Engineers Council, Inc, would include consultation with legislators and agencies in providing peer review and informed professional input relating to the legislators and agencies regarding economic impacts of policies and budgets as they might affect the architect-engineer industry educational institutions on architect-engineer industry matters; and selective participation in certain charitable affairs relating to the local area.
